CrewWind starts with the person and their availability, not the vacancy. Search the offshore wind workforce by role, experience, equipment, certification and work rights, and identify who can mobilise for your window.
Offshore companies and their recruitment partners usually already know the role. The hard part is knowing who is free for a particular project window.
Job posts. The value is in searching a current, live workforce database.
Keep a useful profile and live Available From / To dates, updated quickly from a phone.
Verified login, then search and filter the workforce by suitability and dates.
Contractors choose how they engage: direct, via an agency, or either, with a preferred-agency option. Partners are kept in.
A light follow-up asks the recruiter or contractor whether a CrewWind introduction led to an engagement, so the platform can show it is filling real requirements even though the hiring itself happens off it.
A simple calendar for current and future availability, not just available or not. Because much offshore work runs on short two to six week windows, availability changes quickly, so it is designed to be updated quickly from a phone.
Current role and interested roles, departments, experience and project history, equipment, systems and manufacturer experience, CV, certifications with expiry, work rights and engagement preference. Structured, so recruiters compare like for like.
The search combines role, experience, equipment, certification, work rights and availability rather than relying on a title alone. Ask for an ROV Supervisor with subsea experience, a valid certification and UK / EU work rights, available 20 October to 20 November, and see exactly who fits.
CrewWind verifies the appraisal and the assessor, not the technical judgement itself.
Experience is easy to claim and hard to prove. The Competence Passport lets a contractor show genuine appraisals they have already received while doing a role offshore. CrewWind verifies the appraisal and the assessor rather than making the technical judgement itself.
The main workforce stays genuinely useful for recruiters, while good people from other industries still get a real, reviewed route in, not an unfiltered free-for-all.
Genuine offshore experience means going straight into the workforce, with no review step and no fee. Everything on the profile is included from day one.
People from the military, marine, rail, heavy industry, electrical, mechanical or similar. They cannot simply pick an offshore title and appear in search. Instead, they submit their background for review and CrewWind places them into sensible transition categories.
Offshore Transition applicants pay a one-off £24.99 review fee.
Anyone can type a job title into a form. CrewWind is building a layered trust stack so a recruiter can see what has been independently verified: training records checked at source, competence backed by real appraisals, and availability kept live by the contractor.
Rather than relying only on uploaded certificates, CrewWind is designed to verify training directly through WINDA for GWO records and Vantage POB for OPITO records such as BOSIET and FOET, with consent from the contractor.
Availability and competence appraisals are live today. WINDA and Vantage verification are on our roadmap.
Results are grouped as exact, close and transferable matches, so a recruiter sees who fits perfectly, who is nearly there, and who could step in from a different job title.
This is a preview with demo data. The live search, with real, available contractors, is behind sign-in.
As CrewWind grows, one person can't review thousands of profiles, transition applications and appraisals. CrewWind Agents are experienced offshore professionals, by discipline, who keep real industry knowledge inside the review and verification process.
Agents work remotely around their own offshore rotations. Rather than putting people on salaries, CrewWind pays per review and offers commission for the recruiters and companies they introduce. The strongest Agents can grow into Discipline Leads for their area.
Assess background and place applicants into sensible transition categories.
Help confirm submitted competence appraisals and the assessors behind them.
Introduce trusted offshore contractors, recruiters and companies, and support their discipline.
An Agent code sits against accounts so introductions and commission are tracked properly.
The best Agents can take ownership of their discipline (Trenching, ROV, Survey, Marine or Electrical), keeping the standards and knowledge for that area inside CrewWind as it scales.
